Thanks for all the tips - going to try some of this like dry brushing, chewing longer. I think I am going to try even doing some self lymphatic massage during the yoga classes that I teach! I am interested in hearing how you are doing with implementing everything you learned ❤️

Sounds like a great reset. I would love to hear how you are continuing with some of the things you took away with you as well as the supplements you take.

Steph this was very interesting reading, thank you. But this sort of thing annoys me a bit. First of all it’s a bit extreme. Second of all: how many people, even the relatively well-off, have the money for something like this..?

It's not easy, but I don't see how it's extreme? They aren't doing anything woo woo or pushing the patients. Also obviously not many people can afford it, it's also a small place with a limited capacity. Ideally our medical insurance should cover such a treatment, but it doesn't. But women save for designer purses that cost way more and they see as an "investment". If I had that money, I'd much rather invest it in my health than fancy stuff.

I think respectfully your idea of what extreme is and mine are very different. And no I think our medical insurance would be better spent I think paying out on more basics stuff for needy families.

I'm with you on this one. Half of us are barely making rent while some are going to gut health retreats, when gut health is already scientifically disputed on the methods of improving/healing. It seems excessive to me. Especially because some of the things are quite woowoo, like the foot detoxes

Yes, please. I would love to know what you’re doing now that you’re home. I couldn’t even begin to be able to afford going there although I’d love to. Thank you for letting us live vicariously through your experiences

Sounds like an incredible experience! What is base powder? Is this a protein powder?

Bases are basic, while acids are acidic. It has to do with the chemical property of PH. Most tasty foods are acidic, so it sounds like they were balancing that with a “base powder” to bring the digestive system to a more neutral ph.

So interesting, appreciate you sharing your experience. I’m curious, has this shifted how you cook your meals at home?

I asked last time you did one of you could update which of the multiple things you tried, that you kept up and had a difference , hoping you see it this time as doing multiple things at once gives no indication to what works , esp when only for a week . Thank you, genuinely curious to know !

Thanks for sharing. I was very curious to learn more about it. Which digestive bitters are you taking before meals? And why probiotics in evening versus morning? Thanks
