Thank you for sharing! I’d have to agree with the wellness trends you swear by. These are the ones I’ve noticed a different with.

A wellness trend I think could be beneficial for some, but certainly didn’t help me was bone broth trend in particular the bone broth hot chocolate trend. I would breakout in hives.

Another wellness trend I swear by is castor oil for under eyes. I no longer spend hundreds of dollars on eye creams. Castor oil has helped my dark circles and fine lines and wrinkles!!

Greatly enjoyed reading this, Steph! As someone who loves to try out all the trends too, I’m so glad you emphasized that they are an added bonus to the main stay routines that have supported health for centuries. I personally love a high-protein breakfast each morning and feel that has really changed my energy levels for the best.

I think the new studies on cold plunging for women are super interesting. Women need it less cold to see the same benefits, since our stress responses are different. I think more women would try it knowing it doesn’t have to be thatttt cold. Which is cool!

A small thing to note is that we don’t really sweat out toxins in a sauna per se. Our sweat is something like 95% water. Saunas and especially alternating hot/cold therapy are still showing benefits, but not necessarily detox by sweating. Just thought I’d share what I’ve learned!

I actually really love beef tallow for skin. I started making all my own skincare products over a year ago to reduce the amount of toxins I’m putting on my skin. I’ve used several different main ingredients for my moisturizer and beef tallow has been my favorite so far, but it probably just depends on skin type. I do really like jojoba and castor oil as well.

Really interesting! High protein breakfasts absolutely changed my life. If anyone wants to start being healthier I would start with that before anything personally

Am curious as to what you eat for breakfast to get 30 grams of protein.

Thank you so much for this. One observation, and this is just for myself, is that when I’ve done cold plunges before in bath-houses I’ve always gotten sick afterwards. I did have a friend with me and he got sick too. Maybe we just took it to extremes? Maybe the water was just too cold? I swear by probiotics and the protein breakfasts are a no-brainer. With things like dry brushing and lymphatic drainage I’d love to incorporate these consistently but as a working mother of two adorable teenage girls I sometimes just don’t have time. Will definitely subscribe to you. Thank you again.

I did cryotherapy for a year and loved it so much. My skin looked amazing, I slept better, that energy boost was life giving. I used to have an infrared sauna blanket and while I enjoyed it, I struggled to relax and stay in it for the required amount of time and it was hard to stay consistent. The cryo business closed and I gave away the blanket. I miss cryotherapy so much.
